Thornville Recreation Association (TYRA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit independent youth baseball and t-ball organization serving Thornville, Ohio and its surrounding area. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and educational environment for our area's youth. Through competition, our players will learn the values of friendship, honesty, and sportsmanship while mastering the skills, tactics, and strategies of the sport. The ability of TYRA to provide an affordable opportunity to players would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors and volunteers. 2021 REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

  • Parents that register online will also make payments online.
  • If you do online and are due an immediate family discount that will be credited back to you.
  • Deadline for online registration is Friday, February 19, 2021

 

Paper registration forms can be printed from the TYRA website or are available at the Thornville Post Office and will also be available at the drop off on February 21.

Drop off at Thornville Village Park Concession Stand February 21, 2021 from
12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

•Drop off or mail in payment: by check or cash only (checks made payable to TYRA)
Deadline to register for paper registration is February 21, 2021

 

AGES/COST 

Fees include a jersey and hat; parents are responsible for pants (color to be determined by coach) and socks (if your child wants baseball socks).

T-Ball: Ages 4-6 ($40 each player)  

Baseball: 7/8, 9/10, 11/12 ($50 each player)

*TYRA offers an immediate family discount for 3 or more players (players must be direct siblings)
Max registration fee is $110

 

TEAM T-SHIRTS

Team t-shirts will be available for purchase. This order will be submitted the same time as the uniform order. Adults are $20 each and youth $15. Please indicate on the registration form if you’d like a shirt. Payment is due at time of order. If registering in person, check or cash is due upon order. If registering online there is separate registration for team shirts

9/10 Preseason Tournament

  • Wednesday April 21, 2021- Sunday April 25, 2021, possible makeup day on Monday April 26, 2021
  • $150 Fee and Two game balls to register for the tournament
